On February 4, 2018, during a courageous fight against Leukemia, our 12-year-old daughter Hayley Michal tragically contracted sepsis and passed away unexpectedly. She leaves behind her loving parents, brother, and countless family and friends who cherished her deeply. Hayley and her brother, Jimmy, shared a special bond—she was his friend, role model, inspiration, and so much more.
lighting up every room with her joy and positivity. Throughout her battle with Leukemia, she faced each grueling treatment with remarkable bravery, never once complaining. Hayley made the most of every one of her 12 years.
She found joy in swimming and cherished time spent with friends on the pool deck. A talented flutist, Hayley had big aspirations and a future full of promise. The world was at her feet. In the midst of our heartache, we want to share Hayley’s infectious smile and bring a bit of her sunshine into the lives of other grieving children.
